Density Disappointment

Fybii

Member
6 months post-op and my hair looks thin. Clinic says wait a year, but I’m worried. Can density improve, or do I need a second procedure?

Wait for a year and then get a second opinion. Some clinics under-deliver grafts. If density is still low at 12 months, a touch-up might help.

Hey, it’s totally understandable to be worried, but 6 months post-op is still early in the hair growth process. It’s common for hair to look thin during this stage as the follicles are still settling in and going through their growth cycles. Density can improve over time, usually between 9 to 12 months post-surgery, so waiting a little longer may give you better results.
