Diet effects hair loss?

Hi guys, I’ve been wondering how much our diet and lifestyle really impact hair loss. I’ve read some studies suggesting that a nutrient-rich diet, packed with vitamins, omega-3s, and antioxidants can help reduce shedding and support healthier hair growth.

Has anyone experienced noticeable improvements after changing their eating habits or adding supplements?

Hey! While a nutrient-rich diet is essential for overall health, there’s no solid scientific proof that it directly stops hair loss, except in cases of deficiency (like iron, vitamin D, or biotin).

If you're lacking key nutrients, correcting that can help, but for genetic hair loss (AGA), diet alone won’t make a huge difference.

I switched to a Mediterranean-style diet about a year ago and noticed a gradual improvement in my hair thickness. It’s hard to say it was the sole reason, but I feel like a balanced diet definitely contributed to better overall hair health.

I’ve experimented with eliminating processed foods and increasing my intake of leafy greens and nuts. While I wouldn’t call it a miracle cure, I’ve noticed less hair fall and improved scalp condition.
