Does SMP Work for People With Long Hair?

Hi guys, I’ve been researching scalp micropigmentation (SMP), and most of the results I see are for shaved heads. I have medium-length hair and was wondering, does SMP work for people who don’t shave their head, or is it only good for the bald look?

SMP can work with longer hair too, but it’s mostly used to darken the scalp so thinning areas are less visible. You just have to find a technician experienced with density SMP.

Interesting. Does it blend in well, or does it look too artificial under certain lighting?

If it’s done correctly, it should blend fine, but don’t go too dark—if your hair is lighter, the contrast might make it stand out.
