For those who have undergone an FUT hair transplant, how long did it take for your donor scar to heal and become less noticeable? Did you do anything specific to help with the healing process, like using certain creams or treatments? Also, how short can you cut your hair before the scar becomes visible? Would love to hear your experiences!

Hi nestroyers, I had a FUT Procedure and the initial healing took about 2-3 weeks. Staples were removed on the 14th day, and the area was pretty tender for a while. After about a month, the scar started flattening out, but it was still red for a few months. By the 6-month mark, it had faded a lot, and now at 2 years, it’s barely noticeable unless you’re really looking for it.

I didn't use anything. Just natural healing over time.
