Is My Thinning On The Crown Saveable?

Hello guys, I'm 37 years old and noticed thinning on my crown. I don't want to get a hair transplant if this is saveable with Minoxidil?

Please let me know what you think.

Hello Cameron,

I have been using Rogaine for a quite while now and I have seen improvement on my thinning crown but it is not a day/night difference. I would recommend using Rogaine, if not works Rogaine + Finasteride, if not works a hair transplant.

Hi papi!

At 37, crown thinning like this could still respond well to treatments like Minoxidil. It’s effective for many people in maintaining and even regrowing hair in thinning areas, especially when the hair follicles are still active.

I’d recommend starting Minoxidil (if you haven’t already) and giving it at least 4-6 months to see noticeable results. Pairing it with Finasteride might enhance the outcome by addressing the underlying cause of hair loss (DHT).

In the meantime, you could also add supplements like biotin or saw palmetto to support overall hair health. If you’re unsure, consulting a dermatologist or trichologist would help you tailor a treatment plan for your situation.

Good luck!
