Is this really true???

I was told by a doctor that along with my frontal hairline transplant, it would be a good idea to use Propecia and/or Minoxidil. They mentioned that if I were to go completely bald, there wouldn’t be enough donor hair to cover my entire head. I believe he said the donor area can yield about 6,000 grafts, and it would be wise to preserve that in case I need it later. So, essentially, I'd have to stay on Propecia and Minoxidil long-term.

That’s a pretty common recommendation. Using Propecia and Minoxidil after a transplant can help maintain the hair you still have and prevent further hair loss, especially if you're at risk of going bald in other areas. It’s true that the donor area is limited, so conserving those grafts is important for future procedures if needed.
