Turkey vs. US Clinics – Worth the Savings?

Hi guys, I got quoted $3000 in Turkey for 5000 grafts. Anyone travel abroad for their transplant? How was the experience?

Hey, I actually traveled to Turkey for my hair transplant last year, and honestly, it was a great experience overall. $3000 for 5000 grafts sounds pretty reasonable.

My clinic took care of everything—airport pickup, hotel stay, and even transportation to the clinic. The procedure itself went smoothly, though the first couple of days after the surgery were a bit uncomfortable (swelling and all).

Biggest tip: do your research on the clinic! Make sure they’re reputable and have good reviews. Some places try to cram too many patients in one day, and that can affect the quality of the results. Also, ask about the team—some clinics have the technicians do most of the work instead of the doctor.

Overall, I don’t regret it. The results have been coming in, and I’m pretty happy so far. If you go for it, just make sure to follow their post-op instructions, especially about washing and sleeping positions!

Good luck! Let us know what you decide.

I traveled to Turkey for my FUE and it was smooth sailing. The cost was way lower than in my country, and the quality of service was top-notch. Make sure you stay at least a few days post-surgery for follow-up checks and recovery. Be aware that there might be some minor swelling and discomfort, but it's totally manageable.
