What triggers Hair Loss?

Hi guys, after my mom got cancer I started to lose hairs so fast that I can't believe it. Is it one of the reasons of hair loss? Was it genetics, stress, or something else? How did you deal with it emotionally and physically?

Sorry to hear about your mom and what you’re going through. Yes, stress can definitely trigger hair loss (called telogen effluvium), and it sounds like that’s what’s happening. Genetics can play a role too, but sudden loss is often stress-related. Take care of yourself; hope it does get better!
