I get your concern about shock loss—it’s pretty common after a hair transplant, especially in the first few weeks. Shock loss happens when the newly transplanted hairs fall out, and sometimes even some of the existing hairs around the transplant area can shed temporarily.
In my experience, it started around weeks 2-4, but the good news is it’s usually temporary. It can take a few months for the hair to fully recover, and you’ll start seeing new growth around 3-6 months. Most people notice significant improvement around the 6-month mark, and full results may take up to a year.
Just be patient with the process, and if you’re ever worried, definitely check in with your doctor!
